me and mr bartholomew emcee-ing, behind puan rohazar and one of the speakers, mr chin ren
thursday was finally the day of the seminar kesedaran harta intelek. cringe!
bart and i made a pact that we would save each other's back if we were stuck or something. and thank God we made that pact. there were a few times that that happened, i think. and Allah granted my doa to not sneeze when i was up the stage. Alhamdulillah..
i thought that it turned out disastrous, but later on, it wasn't that bad. it was kinda fun jugak la. bart has emcee-d before, twice i think. so nasib baik i was paired with a somewhat professional emcee cuz i know squat about emcee-ing!
ada theres this one time masa the 6th speaker got lost and was late and bart and i didnt know what to do, so we keep asking the audience if they had any questions. bart even asked ME if i had any questions! habis.. dah la tak concentrate on what the speaker was talking about. but its understandable la what bart did to me, if he didnt trap me, i wouldve trapped him first heh..heh..heh..
so that was my experience being an emcee for the first time. nothing hype, but a first time's still a first and im proud of myself for having the guts to try it, even if it turned out disastrous at some instances.
the only thing i was kinda angin about was that ubai didnt take our picture when we were in action! he borrowed my camera for the whole day but he didnt take the emcee's pic. so that pic up there was the only one, tu pun ada pn rohazar tengah bagi gift kat mr chin ren ..oh well.. at least ada, even if gambar sesat. and there was a lot of empty chairs which was kinda upsetting. but, like i always say, it was fun nonetheless.
